We often encounter this problem. It is usually not a problem with the quality of the nail polish, but some small details in the operation steps are not noticed~ I will tell you the reasons and solutions in detail:
1. Apply too thick (most common)
Nail polish needs to be "thinly applied in multiple layers". If it is applied too thickly at one time, the outer layer will solidify when the light is on, but the inside is not dry yet, which will easily cause wrinkles, shrinkage, and cracking.
It is recommended to apply each layer thinly, especially for color glue. It is better to apply one more layer than one layer too thick.
2. Each layer is not exposed to the light for enough time
Different brands of nail polish and nail lamps of different powers require different exposure times. If each layer is not exposed for enough time, the nail polish will not dry thoroughly, and it is easy to shrink and crack later.
It is recommended to use a lamp with a power of 48W or above, and each layer of color glue should be exposed for at least 60 seconds, and the sealing layer should be exposed for 90 seconds for more safety.
3. The nail surface is not polished or cleaned
If there is grease, dust, moisture or no polish on the nail surface, the nail polish will not be easy to adhere, and it will shrink or not stick to the nail surface after lighting.
It is recommended to gently polish the nail surface with a grinding stick before applying nail polish, and then wipe it clean with cleaning fluid before applying the base glue.
4. The base glue/sealing layer used together is incompatible
Glues of different brands may be incompatible, which may easily cause shrinkage or cracking.
It is recommended to use the base glue and seaming layer of the same brand as ours, which have more matching ingredients, are more stable and less prone to problems.
5. The power of the nail lamp is too low
The lighting effect will also affect the curing. Low-power lamps are not easy to dry, especially for dark-colored glue. It is recommended to use LED/UV nail lamps with a power of more than 48W, and
6. The lighting posture is wrong, and some parts are not illuminated
For example, if the fingers are not flat, the little finger or the edge may not be illuminated, which is easy to dry, wrinkled or shrink.
Keep your hands straight each time you shine the light to ensure that each finger is evenly illuminated.
