1 Color depth and pigment composition are different
Dark colors (such as red, purple, and black) contain more pigment particles, and light penetration is weaker, resulting in longer time for UV or LED light curing to fully harden; while light colors or transparent colors usually cure faster because light can penetrate more easily.
2 Subtle differences in different color formulas
The proportions of resin, pigment, solvent and other ingredients in each color formula are different. These differences in ingredients will affect the reaction speed and curing efficiency of the colloid, resulting in differences in curing time.
3 Nail lamp power and wavelength matching
The power of different nail machines and the wavelength of light emitted by the lamp beads are not exactly the same, and some colors are more sensitive to specific wavelengths of light. If the power is insufficient or the wavelength does not match, the curing time will be longer.
4 Coating thickness and operation method
Too thick a coating will prolong the curing time. It is recommended to apply each layer evenly and thinly so that the light can penetrate more effectively and ensure complete curing. Thick coating not only cures slowly, but also easily causes bubbling or not drying.
✨ Warm suggestions:
Follow the time recommended in the product manual, and extend it by 10 to 20 seconds when dark colors are encountered;
Use the matching primer and sealant to improve adhesion and curing quality;
Ensure that the power of the nail lamp is sufficient, and it is recommended to use a 36W or higher LED lamp;
