Our products are carefully formulated to be safe and non-toxic, providing you with high-quality, worry-free nail care.

Why Are My Nails Weak After Gel Polish?

Prolonged use of gel manicures and acrylic nails can lead to dehydration of your natural nails. This makes them dry, brittle, and fragile over time.

According to manicurist Jin Soon Choi, founder of JINSoon nail salons, it’s important to hydrate your nails to keep them healthy. Cuticle oil and nail products with safe ingredients are essential for providing deep hydration, helping to strengthen your nails and keep them solid.

Why is Gel Polish Thick?

It is completely normal for gel polish to become slightly thicker when exposed to low temperatures. This is a common characteristic of gel products.

If you find that the gel polish is too thick, we recommend placing the tightly sealed bottle into a cup of warm water for about a minute. The heat will help thin the gel, making it easier to apply.

What’s the Difference Between Gel Nail Polish and Regular Nail Polish?

The primary differences between gel nail polish and regular nail polish lie in their wear duration, shine, and drying time:

  • Longevity: Gel nail polish lasts significantly longer than regular polish. When applied correctly, it can stay intact for up to two weeks without chipping, while regular nail polish typically chips within a few days.
  • Shine: Gel polish offers a high-gloss finish that remains shiny throughout its wear, whereas regular polish may lose its luster over time.
  • Drying Time: One of the biggest advantages of gel nail polish is its quick drying time. Unlike regular nail polish, which air-dries, gel polish requires an LED lamp to cure. This curing process makes it dry almost instantly, so you can go about your day without worrying about smudging.
